Rae Jean "RJ" Bradish, a spirited soul who departed this world on October 30, 2025, in Pocatello, Idaho. Born on December 26, 1944, in the small town of Burley, Idaho, Rae Jean's life was woven from the fabric of love, resilience, and an unwavering zest for life, nurtured further in the idyllic surroundings of Mackay, Idaho.

A proud graduate of Idaho State University, Rae Jean earned her Bachelor’s degree in Botany, cultivating a deep-rooted appreciation for the natural world that enriched her life and those around her. Throughout her career at Ace Hardware, she became not just a familiar face but a cherished presence, remembered for her spirited approach to both customer service and community engagement. Her spunky personality and her willingness to question authority often led to delightful conversations, turning mundane moments into cherished memories.

Rae Jean's interests were as vibrant as her personality. She found solace in the simple pleasures of life: fishing on sunlit afternoons, nurturing her cherished garden, and savoring cold beers among friends and family. These hobbies painted a portrait of a woman who truly embraced the world around her, finding joy in every moment and encouraging those around her to do the same.

Her greatest pride came from the love and care she gave to her beloved sister, Joann Taylor, during Joann's final days—a testament to her caring nature and deep familial bonds. Rae Jean's legacy is echoed in the hearts of her children, Marquita, Dominique, Bart, Frank, Jason, and Anne, as well as her nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who carry forth the warmth of her spirit.

Rae Jean is survived by her joyful family, who will forever cherish the fond memories of shared laughter and simple pleasures. She will be dearly missed by all who had the fortune of knowing her, but her essence—a beautiful combination of love, care, and spunk—will linger in the gardens she tended, the rivers she fished, and the hearts she touched.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Kossman, and her mother, Edith Maude Powers-Kossman, along with her sisters, Karen and Joann Taylor, who now welcome her into their eternal embrace. Rae Jean Bradish, a life well-lived, leaves behind a legacy that will bloom brightly in the memories of those who loved her.
