Lewis, Rae Ann – of Clio, age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 11AM, Friday September 5, 2025, at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 2PM until 8PM and on Friday from 10AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designations.

Rae Ann was born on April 25, 1935, in Boon, Michigan, Rae Ann was a vibrant spirit who embraced life to the fullest and left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Rae Ann graduated from Mesick High School in 1953 and soon after, on August 14, 1954, she married her beloved husband, Vernon "Bud" Lewis. Together, they built a life full of love and adventure. Rae Ann made her career in the automotive industry as a parts truck driver for Simms Chevrolet, where she proudly earned the endearing nickname "Granny GoodWrench." Her tenacity and skill earned her a special place in the hearts of many, as she navigated both the highways and the lives of those around her. In addition to her work, Rae Ann cherished the time she spent babysitting for the Klock family, creating lasting memories through her warmth and nurturing spirit. She was a lover of the great outdoors, finding joy in fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and water skiing. Known for her spirited nature and unwavering strength, Rae Ann was a true force of life, who held her own and inspired others to do the same. Most importantly, Rae Ann found her greatest joy in her family, especially her beloved great-grandchildren, whose laughter and love filled her days with happiness.

Surviving are: Children: Michael Lewis and Jody Mosher; Granddaughters: Shana (Caleb) Brewer, Andrea Kusky; Great Grandchildren: Westin, Wyatt, Madelyn, Makenzie, Kevin, Karsen and Kane; Brother, Doug Schwartz; Many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank many friends and family for all the help and care they gave towards the end of Rae Ann's life. She is preceded in passing by her husband, Vernon "Bud" Lewis; Granddaughter, Melanie; Parents: Kermit and Merle (McNitt) Schwartz
