Rajendra “Raj” Alvandhar

54, of McCordsville, Indiana passed away September 26, 2024. He was born to Seshacharyulu and Padmavati Alvandhar on September 6, 1970. Raj received his Master’s Degree at Osmania University. He moved to the United States in 1996 and finally settled in McCordsville, Indiana in 2003. He spent his career in various roles within the IT industry and always continued to improve his skills. 

Raj was an avid supporter of the Greater Indianapolis Telugu Association and the Hindu Temple of Central Indiana, being a key member during the infancy stages of both organizations. 

In his personal time, Raj was a huge movie buff, in particular Westerns and Telugu Action movies. 

Raj will always be remembered for his work ethic, his sense of humor, and always being there for his family.

His greatest love was for his family. Raj is survived by his children, Badri Alvandhar and Aadi Alvandhar, his sister, Vijaya Parashara, and his former spouse Suvarna Daruri. He was preceded in death by his older brother Vijayendra Alvandhar.

Funeral Services will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Rd., on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
