Ralf Dietrich Von Brevern

On February 2, 2024, Ralf Dietrich von Brevern went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ following a fierce battle with Burkitt's Lymphoma Leukemia. He was born on October 1, 1961 in Chicago, son of the late Dietrich and Trudy von Brevern. Ralf was a graduate of Gillett High School with the class of 1979. He worked for various trucking companies over the years and loved to drive anywhere. Mostly he loved to pick up and drive the kids for Wednesday Family Night at Hillside Assembly in Gillett. Ralf was part of their bus ministry program for many years. He had recently received a service medal in January for teaching the Ranger Kids Class for the past 12 years. One of Ralf's favorite things to do was go camping in Pecatonica, IL with family and friends and also to go to garage sales as well as their large flea market every September. Everyone enjoyed hearing his trucking stories around the campfire. Ralf is preceded in death by his parents: Dietrich (Dietz) and Waltraud (Trudy) von Brevern; his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Geneva and George Conners, and one nephew: Christopher Jon Ryan Perez. He is survived by his wife of almost 25 years: Teri (Conners) von Brevern and their two dogs: Jack and Ellie Mae; one brother: Mark von Brevern (Sheila); three brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Randy and Ellen Smith, David and Cindy Conners, Robben and Doug Kosharek; nieces and nephews: Elias von Brevern, Allison (Jordan) Birschbach, Brian (Stephanie) Smith, Derek (Jenn) Smith, Chasity (Mike) Vogel, Melissa (Patrick) Gann, Zachary (Westin) Dixon and Eryk Perez; great nieces and nephews: Hunter, Kyssah, Dawsyn, Carolynn and Landon. Visitation for Ralf will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Hillside Assembly of God, 5890 Hwy 22 W, Gillett from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 12:00 PM (Noon). Officiating at the service will be Pastors Jonathan Carlson and Paul Carlson with committal to follow at Wanderer's Rest Cemetery, Gillett. The family would like to thank the Green Bay Oncology team and the 9th floor nurses at St. Vincent Hospital for the love and care given to Ralf and his family. The Kuehl Funeral Home, 108 E Main St, Gillett is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
