Larry "Bird" Crowe peacefully passed away on October 20, 2023, surrounded by his family. Born on January 7, 1952, Larry had a deep passion for spending quality time with his family, playing cards, cribbage, and dominoes. When he wasn't beating his family in games, you could often find him listening to his favorite band, the Beatles, occasionally trying his luck at the casino, or watching football, supporting his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers! (Go Pack Go)
Larry's memory will forever be cherished by his surviving siblings: Richard Boyd, Lanette Francois, Kevin Crowe, Debbie Moreno, Calbert (Angela) Moreno, Adrienne Moreno, Elena Kitchenakow, Melanie (Darren) Schwartz, Edward (Melanie) Moreno and Angel Crowe. In the welcoming embrace of heaven, Larry reunites with his parents, Joseph and Venita Moreno, sister Carolyn Crowe, brother Peter Crowe, and brother-in-law Tony Kitchenakow, nephew Wayne Waubano, great niece Cicaly Moreno as well as many cherished aunts and uncles. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Kathleen "Kat" Boyd, who was like a sister to Larry and provided care for him over the course of several years. Her support and companionship were a source of comfort and strength for Larry, and she will always hold a special place in their hearts. A memorial service honoring Larry's life will be held at the Legacy Funeral Chapel & Gathering Center, 838 South Fisk St on Thursday, October 26, 2023, visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a reverent prayer service at 1:00 pm. Food and drinks will be provided after the prayer service. Expressions of sympathy, memories and photos may be shared with Larry's family on his tribute page at www.legacycarepartners.com.
