Ralph Becking Obituary
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 9:00am - 11:00am at Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown with a graveside service to follow at the Esterly Cemetery in rural Florence, SD.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Wensing, Leon Hackbart, Todd Pieper, Scott Maag, Steve Maag and Brian Mumm.
Ralph Arthur Becking was born on October 2, 1947 to Joseph and Harriet (Bergstad) Becking. He grew up in Florence, SD and graduated from Watertown High School. He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church.
During his years, Ralph worked as a guard at a poultry plant and also had several part-time jobs. He was a rancher in the area for 35 years.
Ralph was united in marriage to Pam Harriott on July 15, 1978 in Florence, SD.
Grateful to have shared his life are his wife, Pam; his children, Kim West (David Christianson), Velva, ND and Kari Zaske, Watertown, SD; four grandchildren, Kylie Lindner, Brandon Lindner, Alina West and Autumn Zaske.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter; one brother; five sisters and his grandparents.
