Obituary of Ralph B. Bernosky Jr.
Ralph Bernosky, a man with an adventurous spirit and a passion for the open road, passed away peacefully on October 18th, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on May 17th, 1958, to Harriet (Aldus) and Ralph Bernosky Sr. Ralph was known for his love of Harley Davidson motorcycles, finding freedom and joy in every mile he rode. His happiest days were spent on the road, often exploring winding paths and wide-open highways, savoring the peace and thrill of each journey.
Ralph was also deeply dedicated to his work as a mechanic, finding purpose in every engine he repaired and every problem he solved. He was a natural with his hands, able to understand machines in a way few could. His dedication and skill were admired by all who knew him, as was his generosity in sharing his expertise with others.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved grandparents, his sister Belinda Gallant, brothers David and Russell, great nephew Tobias, and brother-in-law Gerald Whitcomb. He leaves behind a family who adored him: his cherished daughter, Tori Caron, and her significant other, Dante Susinetti; Raymond Swett, Danielle Swett, Donna Caron, Jill Caron, and Edward Blair and Darcy Robbins.
Ralph is also survived by his devoted sisters, Sandra Whitcomb, Shirley Moon, and Debbie Berry, along with her husband David. His extended family includes many nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as his dear aunt, Myrtle Aldus. He also leaves behind numerous friends, including special friends Don and Shani Richards, who shared in his journey and love of life.
His memory will forever be a source of strength and love for his family and friends. Ralphs legacy is one of kindness, hard work, and a passion for life's simple joys. In his passing, Ralphs generosity continued as he chose to be an organ donor, giving the gift of life to others. His memory will forever be a source of strength and love for his friends and family. Ralph will be deeply missed, and his memory will ride on, forever part of the wind and the road that he loved so much.
A service will be held on November 10th at 2pm at the Freedom Congregational Church at 45 Pleasent Street in Freedom Maine.
Memories and condolences may be shared on his tribute wall.
