Ralph A. Chambers, age 81, went to be with the Lord September 19, 2024. Ralph was born to the late Rhuban “Tom” and Emma (Shepherd) Chambers in Welch West Virginia. Ralph married Mary (McClish) Chambers May 30, 2021. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, previous wife, Mattie Jean (Morgan) Chambers; sister, Grace Carbaugh; brothers, Donald Chambers, Richard Chambers, and Harless Chambers; step-son, Carl Kilgore.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Mary Chambers; daughters, Diana (Tim) Howell and Julie Chambers-Thompson; step-children, Raymond (Barb) Kilgore, George (Deb) Kilgore, Ellen (Donny) Blackburn; grandchildren, Ashley Howell and Danielle (Chris) Dorobish; great-grandchildren, Sydney and Liam and was expecting a 3rd great-grandchild in 2 months and he was really looking forward to meeting them; longtime friend or as Ralph would say “Brother from another mother”, Roger “Butch” Lewis; as well as several grand children, great-grand children, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Ralph was a member and active at Ripley Chapel Church in Willard Ohio, he would assist with opening and closing the church regularly with Mary. Ralph enjoyed watching his TV Shows like classic westerns and wrestling. He loved spending time with his family any chance he got. Ralph and Mary enjoyed canning the gardens they would plant every year. He enjoyed relaxing on his porch swing and taking in the country lifestyle.
There will be a celebration of life service at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home September 23rd, at 5PM. Visiting hours will be 2 hours prior from 3PM-5PM. Memorials may be made to the Ripley Chapel. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com
