Ralph Alexander Gilley

Ralph Alexander Gilley, 94, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on May 7, 2024.
Gilley was employed at Monsanto for 30 years. Ralph is an Army Veteran and served in the Korea war. Ralph attended East Brent Baptist Church and was also a part of Shriners, Masons and Scottish Rite.
He loved fishing and was taking his boat to the river just a few weeks before he passed.
His grandchildren loved to tease him about making sure he left a few fish in the river for others to catch.
Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Allen and Annie Lee, his sisters, Lutoy and Betty, his brother, Larry and his first wife, Grace Smith.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 50 years, Inez Gilley, daughter, Cathy Witherspoon, step-daughter, Lynda McMonigle, step-son, "Mickey" (Jeanett) Cooper, Grandchildren, Tracy Witherspoon, Joseph (Elisa) Witherspoon, Kelly (Isaac) Caldwell, "Mickey" Cooper, Jr. and Crystal (Stephen) Jones, as well as 12 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home beginning at 6pm-8pm with services to follow the next day, Friday, May 10, 2024 at 2:00pm.
