Ralph Roland Glasgow, born on October 28, 1945, in Tacoma, Washington, passed away on June 7, 2024. He lived a remarkable life filled with dedication, love, and service to his country and community.

Ralph's career was a testament to his commitment and hard work. He served in the Army Reserve for many years, worked tirelessly at the Little Rock Air Force Base at the missile site, and spent 43 years as an engineer at the Veterans Administration. His work ethic and passion for his profession left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Beyond his accomplishments, Ralph will be fondly remembered for the love and care he showed to his family and friends. He mentored not only his children but also his grandchildren, always willing to offer guidance and support. His presence at the ball field, where he watched games with pride, and his shared love for hunting with his son created cherished memories that will be treasured forever.

A man of integrity and honesty, Ralph was known for always putting others first. His selfless nature was evident in everything he did - from his role as a perfectionist at work to his willingness to help anyone in need. His sharp mind and extensive knowledge were matched only by his love for reading, a passion that enriched his life.

Ralph's military service was another significant aspect of his being. After serving 28 years in the Army and deploying to Vietnam in 1968, he retired with a legacy of dedicated service behind him. His work on helicopters showcased not only his skills but also his unwavering commitment to protecting others.

In his leisure time, Ralph found joy in working on model trains and aircraft - hobbies that brought him peace and relaxation. His love for these activities mirrored the care and precision he brought into every aspect of his life.

Among Ralph's proudest accomplishments were serving on the security team at MacArthur Church and dedicating years to teaching Sunday School; roles that highlighted his faith and generosity towards others.

Ralph Roland Glasgow is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jeanette Glasgow; children: Tammy Huff (Bennie), Donnie Glasgow (Joani); grandchildren: Chelsea Thompson (Michael), Kirbi Wurl (Jordan), Emily Glasgow, Ian Glasgow; great-grandchildren: Lincoln Wurl, Nolan Wurl, Maisey Wurl; and brother Donald Glasgow.
