Ralph Kelvin Holda, of Amston, CT, passed away at his home on August 17, 2025, at the age of 66.

Born on June 13, 1959, in Hartford, CT, Ralph was the beloved son of Victor and Helen Holda. After graduating high school, he pursued his passion for craftsmanship by establishing his own masonry business, which he operated with pride and dedication for over 35 years.

In 1986, Ralph married the love of his life, Tamra, and together they built a home in Amston, CT, where they raised their two sons.

Outside of work, Ralph enjoyed a long career playing rugby with the Hartford Wanderers, he enjoyed boating fast on Long Island Sound and had a lifelong love of music-especially drumming. In his younger years, he performed with several local bands.

Ralph will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Tamra; his mother, Helen of Rocky Hill, CT; his son, Otto and his wife Nichole, and their daughter Lily of Wilmington, MA; his son Kelvin of Amston, CT; as well as his siblings, Gary Holda and Susan Sharpley. He was predeceased by his father, Victor, and his brother, Alan Holda.

A Catholic mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church in Willimantic, CT, at 11 am on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ralph's memory may be made to Kelvin's work program at HorizonsCT.org.
