Uncle Ralph.......... You were our family rock. You never had anything bad to say and you never wanted to hear the typical family bickering. Going to your house to eat pork and saurkraut and going up to the cottage to spend time with the family are forever etched as some of my fondest memories. I can't help but crack a smile when I think of you getting out your pencil and paper and taking orders for hamburgers or hot dogs for the upcoming dinner several hours away. You were always so organized and right on-time down to the minute. Im sad I lived so far away but honored to have seen you the last week of life. I have no question to where you are now. I will assume Uncle Joe met you at those gates with a Manhattan with an anchovy olive. To say I will miss you is an understatement.I love you Uncle Ralph. Say hi to my mom and gram

We shared many adventures together over the years but our 2006 trip to Alaska is a favorite memories. Eight of us spent two weeks exploring Alaska in two RVs. It rained 11 of the 14 days but we had a wonderful time. Uncle Ralph showed us all up when he stripped down to his skivvies and went for a dip in a glacier-fed lake. No one else dared to take the icy plunge. The other photo shows us enjoying Manhattans made with clear glacier water from Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. Uncle Ralph was a wonderful man, a loving uncle, and a very dear friend. I am sure Don was waiting at Heaven's gate with the rest of the family to welcome him. I will miss him.

You will forever be missed Uncle Ralph! I will never forget all the summers I got to spend with you and your family! I loved going over to help you clean the
Swiss chard and rhubarb. You are one of the best!

A week before I heard about your passing, I was at work and was sitting in music class with my students and the song of the day was " Peas, porridge hot." And I just sat there in awe, telling my coworker that my Uncle Ralph use to sing this all the time!

I love you Uncle Ralph!

This is hard, but Uncle Ralph was more than a Uncle, we were extra close, I saw him almost every day. I'd stop by early mornings because he i knew would be the only other one up. We'd have coffee and maybe some toast, he would have his sweets. Wether it was a piece of desert from the dinner the night before or just a few cookies, either way he'd love his sweets. So yes over the last few weeks my morning have changed alot, I'd still walk my pup and hit the gym but oh how I miss our morning coffee and conversation.s. I'd also go to dinner either to cook or just to eat but at least 3 or 4 times a week. Yes I loved this man and I miss him more than I can say. RIP sir... see you later.

Uncle Ralph made me feel very special as he did everyone. Whenever I walked in the door, he would greet me with a big smile and a hug and ask me where I had been all his life. He used to make me laugh. Our birthdays were very close and he used to call me tiger that is my Chinese astrology sign. I´m not sure if he knew that or not, but he was always so much fun every day at four 5 o´clock was happy hour. I remember him going to church every day at Holy Spirit where my mother also used to work in the office with father Bush. His love for his family was never ending and I´m his presence will be felt as he enters the gates to heaven as he watches over us.
