Ralph Roberts, 82, of Durham, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Hillcrest Convalescent Center.
Mr. Roberts was born December 9, 1940, in Durham, N.C. to the late Victor Caravan Roberts and Naomi Goss Roberts.
Mr. Roberts was a proud and devout Southern Baptist man. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are assured that Ralph has been called home by God and is with family and friends that preceded him in death, including his wife, Vicky Roberts.
Ralph worked for over 30 years at University Ford until his retirement from the Parts Department. Ralph’s enjoyment in life centered around family, fishing, and all things “Ford.”
Ralph is survived by his stepson, Chris Wall (Lisa); brother, Danny Roberts (MaryJoyce); sister, Lula McGee (Lloyd); grandchildren, Nolan Wall and Jackson Wall and numerous loving family members and friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday December 6, 2023, at Hudson Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday December 7, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Reverend Greg Allison and Reverend Berry Byrd.
Pallbearers will be Nolan Wall, Jackson Wall, Curtis Morton, Vic Roberts, Norman Flack, and Ryan Flack.
Flowers are acceptable or donations can be made in Ralph’s name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at nationalmssociety.org
