Ralph Warner Obituary
2025 in Cedarvale Commons Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
He was born February 27, 1927 in Fayette County, OH, a son of Albert and
Eva (McKinney) Warner.
Ralph worked at Pennington Bread for many years, before buying Warner's
Union 76 and ran it until his retirement.
He attended the Church of Christ, served in the U.S. Navy, and was a
member of the VFW and the American Legion. He was a huge fan of the
Cincinnati Reds and enjoyed playing golf.
Survivors include his daughter, Brenda Wallingford, many grandchildren,
great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a host of friends, former wife and
friend Jean Warner, and long-time partner-in-crime John Emrick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Al Warner, Scott
Warner, Anabelle Dodds, Clifford Warner, Ted Warner, Kenny Warner, Ray
Warner, sons Jimmie and Gary Warner; and grandchildren 'Little' Gary
Warner, Benjie Wallingford, and Randall Warner, and nephews Timmy
Warner, and Al Warner III.
The family will receive friends from noon-1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 17, 2025
in the Roberts Funeral Home, 509 Washington Ave., Washington Court
House, OH followed by Military Honors by the Fayette County Honor Guard
and a funeral service at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating.
Per Ralph's request, cremation will follow and his cremated remains will be
buried in Washington Cemetery at a later date.
The family requests, because of Ralph's love for the Cincinnati Reds, that
everyone attending please wear Reds clothing. The family also wishes to express
their sincere thanks to the staff of Cedarvale Commons, Heartland Hospice, and
the Adena Fayette Medical Center for their excellent care of Ralph throughout his illness.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ralph's memory to the Fayette Progressive
Pre-school.
