Ralph Woznicki

Ralph Woznicki, 92, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 14, 2023 at Raclin House in Mishawaka. Ralph was a very humble and kind man and if everyone in the world were like him, the world would be a better place. He was born on January 7, 1931, in South Bend, to the late Theodore and Clara (Roytek) Woznicki. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Kay, whom he married on August 4, 1956 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. He is also survived by his three daughters; Denise Holland (Ken) of Louisville, KY, Susan Woznicki(B. Lindstrom) of South Bend and Connie Woznicki (Vic Remarcik) of Mishawaka, and his twin sons, Robert Woznicki(Shelley) of Celebration, FL and Richard Woznicki(Kim) of Evanston, IN. Ralph had eight grandchildren; Katie Riddell, Lindsay Welborn, Christopher Holland, Joseph Woznicki, Hannah Kimbro, Byron Woznicki-Hanks, Rachel Woznicki and Abby Robbins, as well as nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by twin infant sons, Russell and James and by brothers, Eugene and Ervin Woznicki. Ralph loved Notre Dame football, and played football on scholarship at the University of San Fransisco. Ralph worked as an accountant for LaSalle Liquors, before retiring in 1991. He continued to stay busy at The Tower Club and The Ridge Co. to name a few. He was a United States Air Force Police Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka. A visitation for Ralph will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday June 19, 2023 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr., South Bend, where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. Funeral services will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church Tuesday at 1:00 with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. where military honors will be performed.
