The world became brighter on June 20th 1991 the day that Rameek Olaide Dagunduro also known by his screen names Rameek Grant Presley/Rameek Grant Pinkett was born in the Bronx N.Y to Cynthia Louise Engleton and Olusanya Phillips Dagunduro. Rameek was baptized into the catholic faith at an early age and was called home by the Lord on July 9th" 2024; at the tender age of 33 years old.
Rameek was preceeded in death by his grandmother Leonie Engleton, grandfather Ernesto Engleton, uncle Ernesto Engleton, aunt Gilda Cherrington and cousin Ernesto Engleton also affectionately known as Boosie.
Rameek's formal education began at St Judes School and upon graduation Rameek was "bitten" by the "acting bug" during his time at Renaissance High School. He continued to pursue his passion for acting and you could see his acting abilities and how he could transform from his quiet isolated nature to whatever stage persona. Rameek had a play and poem published in Prometean, He also participated in several Emmy nominated programs.
Rameek also worked at Kids in the Game after school and summer program where he coached children. If you ever got a chance to speak with him about his job you would know how he cared for the children he mentored. Rameek was well liked and respected by his colleagues and students.
Rameek will be remembered as being unique, quick witted and having a come back line!!! Rameek was caring, loyal and compassionate. Rameek was a dependable friend in times of need he had friends from the East to the west and if anyone of them had an issue he was the proverbial band aid and offered his support.
Rameek was very artistic his passions included acting, directing, video graphics and producing. Rameek especially enjoyed music and was part of a band; Heavy Metal was one of his favorites.
He's survived by his mother Cynthia Louise Engleton and father Olusanya Phillips Dagunduro. His two brothers, Russell Harrison Hobbs, and Raisean Oshay Swift and step sister Terob Pinkett. His nephews, Najawn Malik Hobbs, Jaden De Matas-Hobbs; nieces Ryhlah Porte, Gabriel Porter. Two aunts Marva Burgess and Sarita Jones and his uncle Anthony Engleton. His Godmother Doris Mears. His cousins Nona Cruz, Maggie Cruz and Melinda Cruz, Errol Daley and Christian Daley, Densmore Swift, Teresa Swift, Tessa Swift, Tiffany Swift, Dana Clark, Dale Burgess, Barry Eversley, Kevin Jones, Latanya Engleton,D'wane Burgess, Davina Burgess Clark, Cameron Clark, Dominic Clark, Chance Clark, Samirra Jones, Damair Jones, Shaniya Jones, Joseph Burgess and James Burgess.
He was fortunate to have caring strong women in his life such as Doris Mears-Lashley his Godmother and several others affectionately knownn as his "Aunties" who nurtured him throughout his life. Mrs. Ida Angelo, Lavern Gentle, Mrs. Pearl Lankford, Charlena Lankford, Ms. Cecilia Paules and Dorothy Clark. He also had several father figures Samuel Presley, Robsol Grant Pinkett and Carl Cox. Last but not least Kevin Jones his cousin who was more like his brother.

Rameek has left his indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
