Ramiro Perez, 82, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, in
Mission, Texas, surrounded by the people who loved him most. He was born on July 15, 1943, in Montemorelos, Nuevo León, Mexico, to the late Felipe Elizondo Perez and Josefina Garcia.
Ramiro lived his life with music in his soul and love in his heart. A gifted guitarist, his passion was playing in trios, where every melody he played carried warmth, joy, and a piece of who he was. Whether strumming softly at home or performing for others, his music brought people together - just as he did in life.
He was a man who believed in caring for himself, body and soul, but his greatest devotion was to his family. He deeply loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always checking in on them, offering a helping hand, and reminding them how proud he was. His love was steady, his laughter genuine, and his presence comforting - the kind of father and grandfather whose kindness stays with you forever.
Ramiro was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Felipe Elizondo Perez and Josefina Garcia, and by his brothers Roydemiro Perez, Felipe Perez, Rodrigo Perez and his beloved sister Lilia Olivia Perez.
He is survived by his six loving children with Maria Concepcion - Miguel Angel (Mary Lou) Perez, Paul (Rebecca Cantu) Perez, San Juanita (Herman) Perez, David Perez, Daniel (Bertha Mar) Perez, and Abraham Perez - who will forever cherish the strength, wisdom, and love their father shared with them.
Ramiro is also survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Maria Camila Sanchez Perez, who walked beside him through life's every joy and challenge. Together, they raised two wonderful sons, Ramiro (Angelica B. Puente) Perez and Moises (Vanessa Flores) Perez, and built a home filled with music, laughter, and unconditional love.
He also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will forever carry his melody in their hearts - a song of love, family, and the beautiful legacy he left behind.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 31, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Flores Funeral Home in
Mission, Texas. A Chapel Mass will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., at Flores Funeral Home, followed by interment at 9:00 a.m. at Santa Fe Cemetery, in
Mission, Texas.
Ramiro will be remembered for his warmth, his music, and his unwavering love for his family. Though his hands no longer play the guitar, the melody of his heart will live on in every memory, every smile, and every song that reminds us of him.
