Ramon Roberto Martir Gordils, 89, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at his residence. He was born August 8, 1936 in Las Marias, Puerto Rico, the son of Pascasio Martir and Emilia Gordils. On September 10, 1997 he married Angela Zayas in Chicago, IL and she preceded him in death.
Our dad was the greatest blessing. He loved his family deeply, and he showed it in everything he did, whether it was through his hard work in his younger years, his laughter, or the way he was always there when we needed him.
We will miss his voice, “Is the food done?” is what he would always say. We will miss his presence and we will carry him with us in our hearts, in our memories, and in the lessons he left behind. Rest peacefully Dad, we love you forever.
He is survived by his daughter, Marta and son-in-law, Antonio; his son, Emilio and daughter-in-law, Elenie; grandchildren, Stephanie, Yaritza, Jennifer, Alex, and Elenie; great grandchildren, Milianiz, Mareliz, Frankie Jr., and Keihlani. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Angela; and grandson, Xavier Rivera.
