Ramon “Ramito” Quiñones Ortiz, of Worcester, Massachusetts, formerly of Carolina, Puerto Rico, passed away on the morning of Thursday, August 7, 2025. He left this world after battling illness and ultimately passed in the presence of loved ones including his daughter Yahayra Trinidad who cared for him in her home during hospice, and his partner of nearly 40 years, Virgin Mendez.
Ramon was known for his humor, his go-getter spirit, and his passion for horse racing. He brought joy and laughter to everyone around him and will be remembered for the spirit he carried into every moment of life.
He is survived by his children: Edgardo Ortiz, Melissa Trinidad, Yahayra Trinidad Tacuri and her husband Carlos Tacuri, Damary Santos, Ramon Quiñones Jr., and Rafael Trinidad. He was predeceased by his daughter, Marjorie Quiñones. Ramon also leaves behind many grandchildren, extended family, and friends who will cherish his memory.
Ramon’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and laughter. His presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
