Ramona and her husband, Don Larsen, were long-time residents of Wilton, Minnesota. In recent years, they made their home at Cornerstone Senior Assisted Living in Bagley, Minnesota.

An avid nature enthusiast, Ramona could name nearly every bird and plant in northern Minnesota and loved sharing that knowledge with others. Her family and church were always her highest priorities. For many years, she devoted her time and energy to volunteering at the Bemidji Seventh-day Adventist Thrift Store. The friendships she formed there brought her great joy, and her, community of friends sustained her until she retired from volunteering at the age of 85.

Ramona attended Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. In 1950, she became one of the first Seventh-day Adventist school teachers in Bemidji, where she also met Don. They were married in 1951. In 1980, Ramona completed her registered nursing degree and went on to work with the Bemidji Public Health Nursing Department until her retirement. Her nursing career was also one of the great joys of her life.

Ramona will be remembered for her gentle heart, her generosity, and her love of God's creation.
