Ramona Gonzales Melgoza

Ramona G. Melgoza, 75, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025. She was born on September 1, 1949, in Welsco, Texas, to Roberto and Victoria Garcia.
In 1968, Ramona married Andres Melgoza in Chicago, Illinois, beginning a beautiful journey of family and love. Together they raised four children: Andres, the late Alejandra, Eduardo, and Jackeline. She was also blessed with four grandchildren: Dulce Maria, Carlos, Carrie, and Alma Victoria, who brought immense joy to her life.
Ramona found deep happiness in life's simple pleasures. She had a special appreciation for flowers and delighted in watching birds in her garden. Music filled her home, and she enjoyed watching movies in her leisure time. Her favorite occasions were weekend family barbecues, where she could embrace the company of her loved ones.
Known for her cheerful spirit and loving nature, Ramona touched many lives with her friendship and warmth. She is survived by her husband Andres, her children Andres, Eduardo, and Jackeline, her four grandchildren, and her older brother Oscar. She is preceded in death by her daughter Alejandra.
