Randal Ray Bennett, 68, passed away surrounded by his loving wife and family on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 5:20am. Randal was a native of Newport News, VA and a resident of Theriot, LA.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 11:00am until service time. A Ministry Service will follow visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 1:00pm. A private burial will take place at a later date by the family.
Randal is survived by his loving family; his wife, Derra Babin Bennett; children, Brandy Randolph and husband Jimmy, Jude Bennett and wife Jami, and Madelyn Bennett and partner Chris Dubois; siblings, Ernest Bennett and Thomas Bennett and wife Lisa and DeeAnna Bennett Beaver and husband Elvin; grandchildren, Tyler Randolph and wife Meghan, Layne Liner, Lanna Liner and partner Jacquez Murphy, Emma Bennett and Evan Bennett; and one great grandchild, Naomi Murphy.
Randal is preceded in passing by his loving parents, Homer and Connie Hart Bennett; and loving parents-in-law, Murphy Babin Jr. and MaryAnn Pellegrin Babin.
Randal enjoyed hunting, fishing, gun collecting, and raising his horses. Randy loved his wife and family, his grandchildren and great grandchild immensely.
Randy will be forever remembered by his family and friends and never forgotten and always loved.
