Randal Kirby Obituary

Randal was born November 30, 1958 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Elmer Ray and Willie Dorothy Stoglin Kirby. He worked many years for Luna Logging then started his own logging company. His Saturday nights were filled with dirt track racing and he also raced in figure 8 races in Tennessee as well as Florida. His later years, when he hung up his racing gear, he enjoyed fishing and playing pool.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by brothers James Edward and Jeff Kirby; sister Betty Kirby and brother-in-law Chuck Frazier.
Survivors include his children Kelly (Duane) Mayfield, Keith (Racheal) Kirby, Kelsi Kirby
Grandchildren: Molly Mayfield, Cassidie (Tyler) Bumbalough, Skylar Kirby and Shealynn, James Mayfield, Bryana Mayfield, Lilly Kirby
Bonus children: Cody Whittenberg and Jennifer Goines
Sisters: Shirley, Jamie and Karla Kirby, Becky Frazier
Brothers: Terry and David Kirby
Former wife and mother of his oldest children: Darlene Wilson
A host of nieces and nephews also survive
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Friday, August 22, 2025 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Rice Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Friday at Hunter Funeral Home. Danny Rogers will officiate.
Buck Howell, Scotty Morris, Doyle Flarity, Tyler Bumbalough, Michael Lynn Luna, Tyler Mabe and Brandon Brown will serve the family as pallbearers
