Randy was born on December 15, 1963, in Altus, Oklahoma to Alexie Bercegeay and Benita Stone. He attended Blair public schools and graduated high school in 1982. From a young age he had a love of all things outdoors. Hunting, fishing, exploring were among his many activities, but snake hunting might have been the top spot. Randy began his dream job of working as a government trapper for the USDA Wildlife Services in September of 1992. After 30 years of service with the state of Oklahoma he retired and became a trapper for the federal government. Among hunting he had a great love for his family.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda of their home; daughter, Courtney and husband, Steven, of Hooker, OK, daughter, BJ and husband, Zach, of Gate, OK; his mother, Benita, of Blair, OK; sister, Robin and husband, Mark, of Altus, OK; grandchildren, Hudson, Hayden, Molly, Rance, and Kaden, of Hooker, OK, Reid and Ridge of Gate, OK; nieces, Megan and husband, Ryan, Kenli and Kelbi, all of Altus, OK, Shalee and husband, Joe, of Edmond, OK; aunt, Gardina, of Houston, TX; cousins, Christine and husband, Robert, of Houston, TX, Marie of Houston, TX, Robert and Samantha of Utah; and numerous other friends and family who loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Susan, father, Alexie Bercegeay, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Kristynik, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alexie Bercegeay, and best pal, Clint Caskey.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, December 20, 2024, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, December 21, 2024, in the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Zotter officiating. Burial will follow in the Blair Cemetery under the care of the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory.
