Randall S. Clair, 73, of Portage, passed away Monday, June 23, 2025 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. Randy was born August 20, 1951 in Kalamazoo, the son of Harrison and Beverly (Burnside) Clair. He was a 1969 graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School. In 1971, he was drafted into the United States Army and served in Vietnam. Upon his honorable discharge, he attended Spring Arbor College in Grand Rapids, earning a bachelor’s degree in human resources. He worked for Perrigo as their human resources manager before starting his own company, Job Quest Resumes. Earlier in his life he worked as a bartender in Kalamazoo, Portage and South Haven. He lived on Austin Lake for 30 years and enjoyed being near the water.
Randy is survived by his partner, Christiane Christoph of Portage; his brother, Rick (Lynda Giguere) of Douglas, AK; his nephew, Austen (Lindsay) Clair and great niece, Daniella Clair; along with many cousins; and his beloved dog, Jasmine.
Cremation has taken place and services for Randy will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project at: woundedwarriorproject.org
