Randall G. Gibson

Randall G. Gibson, age 83, of Hampton, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Eternal Hope Hospice.

Randall was born on June 11, 1942, in Culver City, California, to the late DeForrest Glenwood Gibson and the late Mary Maxine Gundersen Gibson.

Mr. Gibson was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam War. Randall worked in several industries during his career, including aerospace, manufacturing, city government, and insurance. He most recently retired from Boys Republic in Chino Hills, California. He was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Randall's memory will forever be cherished by those he leaves behind.

Those left to cherish Randall's memory are his wife, Judy Gibson; children and their spouses, Gregory Gibson (Tammy), Amy Byrd (Ryan), William Gibson (Shannon), Rose Murray (Pat); grandchildren, Rachel Cheney (Brian), Emily Gibson, James Gibson, Jacob Gibson, Ian Byrd, Travis Gibson, Andrew Gibson, Lucas Byrd, Kimberly Gibson, Emma Gibson, Elise Byrd, Victor Byrd, Preston Murray, Grant Murray; 2 great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Cheney and Lily Cheney; sister, Mary Kay Eason; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 605 Maddox Road, Griffin, GA 30224 with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel with Air Force military honors.
