Mr. Randall Glenn "Randy" Kisner, 61, died Thursday, October 16, 2025, at his home in Oxford, MS. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Following the graveside service, friends are invited to join the family for fellowship and remembrance at Old Methodist Campground, 18 CR 238, Oxford, MS 38655.
Born on February 14, 1964, to the late Joe Glenn and Faye Ellen McLarty Kisner, Mr. Kisner worked throughout his life as a chef. He loved cooking for his family and friends and used any excuse to spend time outdoors, often hunting and fishing. He shared his love of guns and the outdoors with his son and grandson and could site a rifle better than most. Simply being in nature brought him immeasurable peace. He followed his beloved Rebels across all sports and especially loved relaxing and watching Ole Miss Football, win or lose. Most of all, Randy will be remembered as a man who put others before himself and strived to make everyone feel loved and happy. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by an infant brother, Scott Allen Kisner.
Randy is survived by his life partner, Elaine Kavyas Overing of Oxford; a son, Jay Kisner (Casey Beard) of Oxford, MS; a grandson, Hayden Glenn Kisner; Elaine's children, Athena Overing and Eric Overing along with his pets, Gigi, Raincloud and Vinnie and a host of beloved cousins.
Expressions of sympathy or memorial contributions in Randy's memory may be made to Old Methodist Campground, c/o Ruth Locke, 11 CR 417, Oxford, MS 38655.
