Randall Kline Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 11, 2025.
Randall Jay Kline, affectionately known as Randy, passed away on July 21, 2025, in Williamsburg, Virginia, at the age of 74, after a brief battle with cancer. Born on June 23, 1951, in Reading, Pennsylvania, Randy lived a life marked by service, dedication, and love for his family and passions.

Randy proudly served his country as a Naval Lieutenant for 24 years, during which he was stationed on the USS Theodore Roosevelt and served as a hospital administrator. His commitment to the Navy was a testament to his character and dedication to serving others. Following his distinguished military career, Randy transitioned to civilian life as a realtor, where he continued to make a positive impact in his community.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Randy found joy in tutoring at a local elementary school and assisting at a tax office, always eager to lend a helping hand and share his knowledge with others.

Randy's interests were as vibrant as his personality. He had a passion for gardening, enjoyed the thrill of going to the casino, and was an avid golfer, both playing and watching the sport. He took great pride in driving his Corvette and was a devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs, holding the title of official member of the Cubs Fan Club. Football also held a special place in his heart, but nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his beloved grandchildren.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Faye Kline, and his sister, Cathy Duryee. He is survived by his loving wife, Anne Fitchett; his brother, Scott Kline, and his wife Kim; his brother-in-law, Jim Duryee; his daughters, Renae Springer and her husband Matt, and Trish Davila and her husband Andrew; his stepdaughter, Kim Schott and her husband Chris; his stepson, Cliff Clifton and his wife D'Anne; and his cherished grandchildren, AJ Davila, Sydney Springer, Grayson Davila, Morgan Schott, Sara Schott, Victoria Clifton, and Hayden Robertson.

Randy's legacy of kindness, service, and love will be remembered by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) in his honor.
