Randall Kennard Knapp

Randall Kennard Knapp, 65, passed away in Ocala, Florida on July 18, 2025. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 27, 1960 to Kennard and Verna Knapp. Randall was a dedicated member of the American Legion of Bronson, Florida and proudly served his country in the US Navy where he later retired as a Chief Petty Officer. Randall was sarcastic and loud, spiritual but the most charitable soul. He enjoyed playing fantasy games, a wine connoisseur, Pink Floyd fan, going to concerts, most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. Randall is survived by his children: Fatima Carrillo of Bronson, Florida, Tina Knapp (Joshua Dietz) of Ocala, Florida, Michael Knapp of Ocala, Florida, Christopher Knapp of Ocala, Florida, Vanessa Behrens of Tampa, Florida, and Nadia Behrens of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren: Riley, Everly, Langley, Lilah, and Connor; mother: Vera Brown (William) of Bronson, Florida; brothers: Kerry Knapp of Bronson, Florida, and Tracey Knapp (Christine) of Charlotte, North Carolina; step siblings: Rick Brown of Bronson, Florida, Elizabeth Chazulle of Bronson, Florida, and John Brown of Texas, many loving extended family members and his beloved fur children, Smudge and Jasper. Randall was preceded in death by his father, Kennard Knapp, and grandmother, Larnie Penberthy. A visitation will be held on August 1, 2025 from 12-1pm at Purcell Chapel with the service starting at 1pm.
