Randall Scott Raines, 54 of Moorefield, WV, passed away on January 28, 2025, at WVU’s Potomac Valley Hospital in Keyser WV. Never one to follow the crowd, he carved his own path embracing the ups and downs with stubbornness and a twist of humor.
Born on December 21, 1970, in Cumberland MD, Randall lived life unapologetically. He was a good mechanic, always tinkering with his current ride. Loved muscle cars and owned quite a few in his time. He valued his many friends and family and leaned on them in times of need. He was a firm believer that rules were made to be rewritten. Though his path wasn’t always traditional, it was authentic and that’s what mattered most to him.
Randall leaves behind a family who loved him unconditionally, friends who will never forget his fearless spirit and a world a little less wild without him in it.
He is survived by a son, Isaac Scott Raines of Moorefield, WV. His parents Lyle & Lenora Kay Rohrbaugh Baldwin of Moorefield, WV and Samuel Jackson Raines of Venice, Florida. A sister, Christa Corley of Winchester, Va, and a nephew, Chase Corley.
He lived his life his way and in doing so he showed us all the beauty of truly being free. Rest easy Randall, may your next heavenly journey be as bold as the life you lived on this earth. A Celebration of Randall’s life will be held at a later date.
