Randall Wilson Wallace, a beloved figure in the Selma community and a cherished presence in the lives of all who knew him, passed away on May 2, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on March 20, 1955, Randall dedicated over three decades of his life to serving others through his work with Haynes Ambulance and C.A.R.E. Ambulance. He was a steadfast member of the community, known not only for his professional contributions but also for his unwavering commitment to helping those in need.
Randall's endeavors extended beyond the ambulance service; he was deeply involved as a volunteer firefighter with the Potter's Station Volunteer Fire Department and served with the Dallas County Rescue Squad. His selflessness and dedication to public service were manifest in every action he took, and he generously devoted his time and energy to ensure the safety and wellbeing of others. Randall lived a life marked by compassion, and those who encountered him were touched by his kind spirit and warm heart.
Educated at John T. Morgan Academy, Randall carried the values instilled in him throughout his life. His family often described him as a loving, caring man who would go to great lengths to give of himself to the community. His work was more than just a job; it was a calling that fulfilled him and allowed him to make a difference every single day.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Amanda Wallace; parents, Ward and Hazel Wallace and sister, Mary Elizabeth Glass.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia M. Wallace and daughter, Amy Marie Wallace (Brandon) Massey.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home At Pineview. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel in Valley Grande. His cremains will be interred at Pineview Memory Gardens, following the service.
His pallbearer will be Brandon Massey.
