Ervin Lawrence Obituary
Ervin Gene "Pete" Lawrence passed away February 28, 2025 at the age of 89. He was born April 27, 1935 to the late Ervin Webster and Sarah Frances Lawrence.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Lawrence, Henry Lawrence, Oliver Lawrence and Earnest Lawrence; sisters, Donnie Faye Diamond and Bonnie Faye Honeycutt; son-in-law, Darrel McIlwain and great-grandaughter, Mary Frances Bell.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Biddie B. Lawrence; daughters, Sandra (Ben) Wilkinson and Pamela McIlwain; son, Mark (Candis) Lawrence; grandchildren, Brian (Jessica) Wilkinson, Eric (Lindsay) Wilkinson, Stacey (Kevin) Bell, Jennifer (Phillip) Farrior, Matthew McIlwain, Lindsey McIlwain (Sam) McDonnell, Cole McIlwain, Alex Lawrence, McKayla Lawrence, Molly Lawrence; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Monroe (Carolyn) Lawrence and Georgia Mae Walker and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Pineview Memory Gardens with Pastor Mack Farley officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home At Pineview in Valley Grande, prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Bell, Brian Wilkinson, Eric Wilkinson, Matthew McIlwain, Cole McIlwain, Alex Lawrence, Phillip Farrior and Sam McDonnell.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Southeast Hospice for their loving care.
The family will accept flowers or you may consider memorial donations to Spirit Walk Ministries; 1908 County Road 107, Prattville, Alabama 36066.
