Randel Trumbull Obituary
He was a handyman of all trades. He retired from the Elevator Trade in December of 2023. The past two years, he was able to enjoy his retirement by working on his never-ending list of projects, spending time with his wife and family, and even getting in a little bit of traveling. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Zaborowski Trumbull; they were married for 39 years, 9 months, and 29 days. He is also survived by his son, Caleb Ephraim Trumbull; his daughter-in-law, Hillary M. Trumbull; and his daughter, Sarah Elisabeth Trumbull. He also leaves behind four precious grandchildren, Emily, Madeline, Paisley, and Ashton; siblings, Travis Trumbull (Leslie), Amy Heffington (Ellis), Judi VanDyke, Esther VanDyke, Richard VanDyke (Kayla), Elizabeth VanDyke, Andy VanDyke, Albert VanDyke, and Violet VanDyke; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many great nieces and great nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Norman Gene Trumbull; mother, Fern Stevens Trumbull VanDyke; sister, Carol Ann Trumbull VanDyke; and niece, Kathryn Elizabeth Lawlis.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1996 IH-35N, San Marcos, TX.
