Randell Alvin Clifton, age 68, passed away on June 23, 2025. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville.
Randell was born on October 21, 1956, in Denver City, Texas to the late O.A. and Kathy Clifton. He grew up in Denver City and graduated from Denver City High School in 1975. He married Deniece on March 17, 1991. He was a Master Electrician for over 30 years, retiring in 2013. Randy wasn’t just the life of the party; he was the party! He was known for his infectious smile and his story telling. If you had the chance to meet him, he didn’t make you feel like just a friend; he made you feel like family. Even though he will be deeply missed, it brings us comfort knowing he is reunited with his wife, our mom, his yellow rose.
Randell was preceded in death by his wife, Deniece Clifton, and his parents.
He is survived by his children, Cyndi Clifton, Starla Smith and husband, Chris, Randall Green and fiancé, Michelle Evans, Alan Clifton and significant other, Ivy Laakso, Kyle Clifton and partner, Whitney Billings, and Austin Clifton and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Elijah, Jamie, Haylea, Jaynee, Sean, Jackson, Liam, Kennedy, Ha’Ane, Tasi’Ana, and Mai’Ana; brothers, Al Clifton and Reggie Clifton; and many beloved family members.
