A veteran of the Vietnam War, Randy served with honor in the United States Marine Corps, a commitment that defined his courageous and steadfast character. Following his military service, he continued his mission to protect and serve his community as a Macomb County Sheriff's Deputy, a position he held for 25 years.
Beyond his professional life, Randy's greatest joys were found at home. He was a passionate fan of Michigan football and loved to entertain his grandchildren, Gabe and Audrey. He is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela; his son, Robert (Paulette); and his cherished grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brother, Rodney; his sister-in-law, Beth; his nieces, Allyson (Mike) and Kim (Kellie); his nephew, Thomas; his great-nephews, Elliot and Emmett; and numerous other relatives. Randy was predeceased by his mother, Dawn; his father, Robert; and his brother, Allan.
Memorial Visitation Friday, September 5th, 2025, from 10:30am until time of 11am Memorial Service at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons Inc., (Shelby), 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. Please share memories with the family at their online guestbook at WujekCalcaterra.com

Randy would stand in front of the mirror for High School football games in uniform trying to make himself look bigger. Not too large in stature but a giant in determination !
