Jeffery Stephen Bismack, age 69, of Beverly Hills, died peacefully on September 14, 2025, surrounded by family.
Jeffery was born and raised in
Berkley, Michigan by the late Elaine and Donald Bismack, alongside his two brothers (Douglas, Mitchell) and two sisters (Cynthia, Lisa). After graduating from Shrine High School, he went on to study pharmacy and business at Wayne State University.
He married his dear wife, Lorna, on July 17, 1976, and together they raised a family in Beverly Hills, Michigan, including their three sons, Douglas (Anna Borovich), Gregory, and Steven, and later welcomed three grandchildren, Arjun, Anoushka, and Anvi. Jeffery remained a committed and loving husband to Lorna to the very end, providing his unwavering support and care to her daily after she suffered a debilitating stroke. Lorna and Jeffery would have celebrated their 50th anniversary next year.
An accomplished business owner and serial entrepreneur, Jeffery began his career as owner of a local drugstore chain, moving onward to a home health care company, a home nursing service, and later, a home infusion business. Throughout his career, his work was always centered on improving the health and lives of others, a mission that defined his legacy both in business and in life.
A true master of all skills, Jeffery wore many hats within his businesses. He not only served as the president and pharmacist but also designed and maintained the computer networks, and when time allowed, even took on building renovations himself. His hands-on approach and versatility reflected both his intellect and his determination to see every detail done right.
In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, waterskiing, visiting his cottage up north, and especially playing hockey-a passion he shared not only in his younger years but also later in life, when he laced up his skates to play with his sons as adults. Those moments on the ice reflected the closeness of their bond and his love for creating lasting memories together.
Jeffery was predeceased by his parents, Elaine and Donald Bismack, and his older brother, Douglas Bismack. He is survived by his wife, Lorna Bismack; son Douglas Bismack (Anna Borovich); son Gregory Bismack and spouse Sunali; son Steven Bismack; and three beautiful grandchildren.
