Randy Wadel Hucks, age 72, a beloved figure renowned for his generous spirit and warm-hearted nature, passed away on February 27, 2026, at Deer Park Health and Rehab. He was born on July 26, 1953, in Conway, South Carolina.
Randy was a man who embraced life with a big heart. His love for the Lord was profound, and he found solace in reading his Bible and listening to gospel music. These passions were a constant source of inspiration for him and reflected the core of his character. In his younger days, he cherished moments spent cruising down the Waccamaw River with his brothers and friends, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Those who knew him well remember his infectious sense of humor, which brought joy and laughter to all around him.
He leaves behind his loving brother Henry Hucks and sister-in-law Toni, along with his sister Doris Hucks. Randy also held a special place in the hearts of his 24 nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Henry Hucks and Sadie Bell Jordan Hucks, as well as his siblings Carl Hucks, Betty Lou Smith, Levon Hucks, Jeanwood Todd, Donnie Hucks, Tommy Hucks, and Allen Hucks.
A private family interment will be held in Conway SC at a later date.
Randy Wadel Hucks will be greatly missed, yet his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will carry forward the light he brought into their lives.
