Randy M. Jones

Randy M. Jones Sr., 76, passed away at home, peacefully surrounded by family, on March 31, 2025. Born on September 16, 1948, in Tullahoma, TN, to Hinton Edward Jones and Myrtle Jean (Ghea) Jones, Randy was an electrician with the local IBEW 429 Union. He worked for himself and others before moving to Florida, where he worked with Georgia Pacific for many years. Upon retirement, he moved back to Tullahoma.Randy enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking, and being with his children and grandchildren. His children were his heroes. He was their Little League Baseball coach, Scout leader, and assistant football coach. Randy also touched the lives of many with the multitude of positions he held in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was ready to provide service to anyone in need.He is preceded in death by his parents, Hinton and Myrtle Jones, and his great-granddaughter, infant Presley Grace Jones.Randy is survived by his loving wife, Dovie "Pat" Jones, of 58 years; his children, Randy "Mike" Jones Jr. (Lynda), David Jones (Ronda), Andrew "Bryan" Jones, James Jones, Drew Jones, and Victoria "Tori" Jones; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Jones, and sister, Alice "Queenie" Hall.A viewing will be held at Tullahoma Funeral Home on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The graveside service will be held at Bethany Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Family Food Ministry.
