Born July 16, 1948 in Tacoma, Washington. He was the eldest of four children of the late Harold and Rose (Myers) Larsen. Growing up, he moved all over the country, living in many states with his family. Randy attended Valley Forge Military Academy as a Cadet in Pennsylvania for one year and was president of his class the remaining years of high school were spent at a high school in Pennsylvania where he graduated.
After a while, he settled down in south Florida for many years. Randy got married and had two sons he raised in Florida. He later made his way to Michigan where he owned his own Transmission Shop in Adrian for many years. Randy's latest job was a manager for a Transmission Shop in Ypsilanti before retiring.
Randy met the love of his life: Gerrie Springer on a blind date on October 9, 1996 that was arranged by her sister. They met at Wolverines Bar and Spirits in Chelsea. They were inseparable ever since. Together, they enjoyed having fun cruising, gambling and traveling to places like Florida and Las Vegas. They had spent over 28 wonderful years together.
In his younger years, Randy enjoyed going hunting and fishing collecting and selling Antiques. Later, he acquired a Harley Davidson Motorcycle that he affectionately named Sweet Pea. Randy had the best sense of humor and always tried to make others laugh around him. He was fun to be around. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
