Randy "Mark" Owen

Randy Mark Owen, 64, made his journey to see the Lord on Monday August 11th. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it " Proverbs 22:6. The son of a pastor, Mark (as he was known), would leave Bible tracts in bathrooms, shared his devotion to the Lord with his children and walked in the footsteps of Christ. A man with a personality bigger than the trucks he drove for work, a mighty laugh more contagious than a cold, he spoke his mind, but was not cruel, and he listened with intent when his children and family spoke to him. He was a phenomenal example of what a father should be. He loved fishing, hunting with his brother, John and playing golf with his son, Blake. He loved any chance to get together with his family for a holiday, celebration or to shuck a bushel of oysters. Mark is survived by his wife, Cynthia Owen and their daughter Lucy Owen; son Blake Owen, wife Shelby and their daughters Emmie and Anna Marie; Daughter Ceclia Crawford, husband Blake and their children Everly and Waylon: Daughter Hayley Coward, husband Kade, and sons Ozzy and Jett; Step-children, Katharine Thorpe, Elizabeth Bennett, Henry Evans and Landry Evans and 8 step-grandchildren. A sister, Ricky Libbert and brothers Matt and John Owen as well as a plethora of nieces and nephews that were always excited to see him. A funeral service will be held at Victory Baptist Church on Monday, August 18, 2025 at 11:30am with interment at Tallahassee Memory Gardens to follow.
