A Celebration of Life will be held for Randy on July 15, 2025 at 3:00 in the afternoon at Calvary Baptist church In Emory, TX with Pastor Jimmy Jarrett officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 22, 2025 at 3:00 in the afternoon at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory, TX.
Randy Eugene Patterson passed away peacefully at his home on June 20, 2025 at 6:01 in the morning, while holding his daughter Kim’s hand. He was 68 years old the day he was called home to be with his Lord and Savior.
Randy was born on May 28,1957 to Jerral Eugene Patterson and Marjorie Lee "Bobbie” Jacobs in Greenville, Texas.
Randy worked alongside his Dad Jerral Patterson at Patterson Refrigeration and air for many years. He worked for Dal-Air in Point, TX for 30 years where he retired as Maintenance Supervisor.
Randy was an avid bass fisherman; who loved the Lord and his family. In Randy’s younger years he had a dirt track car with his cousin Jimmy Feagan. The hobby as he got older was still racing but of RC Cars. Randy always had jokes or a wisecrack for the ones he loved. Randy always had a smile on his face and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He had many friends whom he loved to fish, race and visit with.
Randy loved spending time with his family, his new joy was spending time with his great grandson Stetson Dwayne Green his little “onion head” as he called him. He loved his little buddy. Stetson made these last few months of his Papaw’s life very special.
Randy is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Denice Patterson of Emory, TX; Grandsons, Greggory Keith Jackson of Lubbock, TX, Cody Dwayne Jackson and wife Kallie of Houma, LA; great-granddaughter, Aubrie Wurzlow; Granddaughter, Kori Michelle Jackson and husband Tristen Green of Sulphur Springs, TX; great-grandson, Stetson Dwayne Green; Daughter, Stephanie Ann Stevens and husband Carey Stevens of Whitewright, TX; Grandsons, Scott Charles Samples of Greenville, TX, Seth Cole Samples of Whitewright, TX; Granddaughters, Kenleigh Nolen and husband Isacc Nolen of Lenoard, TX, Addison Stevens of Whitewright, TX; Sister, Sandra Carole Allen and husband Gary Allen of Greenville, TX; Nephew, Rodney Keith Allen of Greenville, TX; Nieces, Angie Moore and husband Tim of Blueridge, TX, Amy Manning and husband Jay of Greenville, TX; Great-nephews; Toby Moore and wife Angela of Blueridge, TX, Benjamin Moore and wife Georgetta of Greenville, TX, Chris Moore of Sherman, TX, Jevan Manning and wife Ashley of Greenville, TX; Great nieces, Leslie Mitchell and husband Josh of McKinney, TX, Amanda Bowmer and husband Christopher "Critter" of Forney, TX, Amberlee Manning of Greenville, TX. Randy had many cousins that were more like his brothers and sisters. He loved them all dearly.
He will be missed by his dear friends, Sherry Carver, Sam Edwards, Seth McMackin, Dale Lennon, Kevin Wilcox and many others.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Patterson; his parents, Jerral Eugene Patterson and Marjorie Lee Jacobs; grandparents, Tom Patterson and Lena Adair, Charlie Clinton Jacobs and Willie Mae Sammons. Along, with many more beloved family members.
