Randy C. Poling, 75, of Lancaster passed away on March 4, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to the late Joe F. and Doris L. (Dunn) Poling on January 5, 1950 in West Branch, MI. He graduated from Amanda-Clearcreek, a member of the class of 1968. He then attended and graduated from The Ohio State University. He was a hard-working entrepreneur with ties to several local businesses. He was a friend to many and a stranger to no one.
He was most proud of his family and is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 54 years, Fay Poling; children, Lance (Sabrina) Poling, Katie (Keith) Arent, Dustin (Lindsay) Poling; grandchildren, Ava, Sophia, Chloe, Madison, Danica, Malcolm, Lily, and Josephine; brother, Brad Poling. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Stalder.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 10 from 5pm until 7pm at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St, Amanda. The funeral will be held Tuesday, March 11 at 11am with Pastor Scott Stem, officiating. Interment will follow at Amanda Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions in his honor may be made to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd, Lancaster, OH 43130.
