Dr. Randy T. Rudisell

Dr. Randolph (Randy) T. Rudisell, 82, of Chattanooga went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 21, 2025.
Born in Hominy, OK., he was an Oklahoma All-Star halfback for Oklahoma State University.
Dr. Rudisell received his Master and Doctorate degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dr. Rudisell received the call to ministry at the age of 17 and ministered for 53 years. During his ministry he pastored in Gainesville, Tampa, and Miami, Florida as well as Corpus Christi, Fort Worth, Nederland, and Dallas, Texas before moving to Chattanooga 10 years ago.
He was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church and was also a member of the Rotary Club for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Jeanne Rudisell; and his daughter, Sherry Ann Rudisell Gonzalez.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Rudisell; daughter, Robin Blankenship, of Ooltewah; 6 grandchildren, Ashley Blankenship, of Washington, D.C., Jack and Ryan Blankenship, both of Ooltewah, Taylor Gonzalez of Brooklyn, NY, Paul Gonzalez of Orlando, FL, and Chloe Gonzalez, of Columbus, Ohio; 2 sisters, Linda Rudisell-Hines and husband, Robert of Ajijic, Mexico, Karen Kerr, of Borger, Texas.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 26th at 12 noon at Ridgedale Baptist Church with Dr. Doug Plumlee officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
