I don't know where to start, I have so many memories of my daddy he taught me everything I know from my teenage thru my adult years even though I was and still am his baby girl. It hurts so bad words can't explain. I remember when I first moved in with him at the age 11 we lived on Judkins in riverside, ft. Worth it was just us at home and he had made me corn dogs and mac n cheese but forgot to turn off the grease so by the time we were done eating the best corn dog and mac n cheese I've ever ate btw the grease was smoking so my daddy grabbed the pan of grease and took off out the front door to get rid of it but he thought I was right behind him which I was until he stepped off of the front porch where I stayed but the grease splashed onto his hands which made him drop the pan but instead of jumping backwards away from the splashing grease he jumped over it and tried climbing the little light post that was half of his size and I remember thinking why is he doing that not knowing he thought I was behind him and didn't want me to get hurt but I was still on the porch I was so worried about him because I knew he was hurt bad but he wouldn't admit it he just kept a big smile on his face even though he was shaking so bad and even let me crawl back on his lap to watch TV until he couldn't handle it anymore and called my aunt Lesta to come take him to the hospital where they told him he had 1st,2nd,&3rd degree burns on over half his body including his personal parts because he was wearing his little daisy Duke cut off jean shorts he liked so much, but he was so strong and didn't let me see how much pain he was in just so we could finish spending the day with me because that was more important. That was how he always was with me which is why he was my hero and the strongest most untouchable man in my eyes which is also why it's so hard on me to except the fact that he's gone. That's just one memory out of so so so many I have of my daddy. God I love and miss you so much I've never felt pain like this before. I love you daddy.
