Randy Bruce Smith, of Oklahoma City, passed from this life on May 8, 2025, at the age of 64. He was born on July 14, 1960, and lived a full life surrounded by family, nature, and the things he loved most.
Randy is survived by his loving wife, Ilene Smith; his children, Tasha and her husband Ryan Minnaar, Tiffany and her husband Chris Chase, and Justin Smith. He was a proud grandfather to Kai, Aubrey, Ari, Ian, Austin, Jase, Emily, and Ora. He also leaves behind his siblings and their spouses: Kenneth and Donna Smith, Gary and Tracey Smith, Paula and Manuel Ramirez, Darice and Brian Cook, and Lisa and Vince Ellis, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Steven Wayne Smith.
Randy had a passion for art and enjoyed drawing and painting. He loved watching OU football, learning about history, and watching science fiction. He was a natural storyteller who loved to talk with family on the phone and keep everyone connected.
Spending time outdoors brought Randy peace and joy. He loved fishing, collecting interesting rocks and crystals, and traveling to find them. He had a deep appreciation for nature and a curious, kind heart.
Randy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His warmth, sense of humor, and love for family will always be remembered.
