Ranjith Pieris Obituary
Born on May 12, 1951, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Ranjith pursued his education in England, where he trained as a marine engineer. Outside of his professional life, Ranjith found great joy in stamp collecting. It was a pastime he cherished deeply and one that brought him quiet happiness. His long battle with cancer was faced with remarkable strength, grace, and resilience. Through it all, Ranjith remained dignified and hopeful, inspiring those around him with his perseverance and gentle courage.
Ranjith Pieris will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of kindness, compassion, and quiet strength will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
Funeral services for Ranjith Pieris will take place Monday, February 9, 2026 from 12:30-2:30pm at Holy Cross Burial Park & MSLM (Crematory). Holy Cross Crematory is located at 840 Cranbury South River Road in Jamesburg, NJ.
