Rashaad Elting Obituary
Born in Newport News VA, on June 18,1982, he was the son of Lynne Jackson-Elting and Robert A. Elting. After graduating from Fort Mill High School, Fort Mill SC. He attended and graduated from Winston-Salem University. Rashaad's last job position was at The Veterans Administration, Charlotte North Carolina.
He will be remembered for his love of his daughter, his sense of humor, and his giving kindness to friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter Zinn Ari Elting; two siblings Raamu A. Elting (Gertonda), Rashida A. Elting (Darwin); nieces Alexis Said (Hussin), Semaj Biggers, great nephew Kam Said; Zinn's mother Tomita Ferguson and son K.J. Dominique Garrett and children Jay and Mia. Also left to cherish his memories are a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

I didn't know Rashaad personally, but he was friends with my cousin and whenever they would interact on Facebook they would have me cracking up. Sending my condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.
