Rashawn Weston Davis Faniel

In loving memory, we honor the life of our dear Rashawn W. Faniel, who transitioned from his earthly life, early Wednesday, June 5, 2024 in Linden, New Jersey at the age of 40. Rashawn was born on September 13th 1983 in Newark, New Jersey to his father, the late Weston Davis and his mother, Ronnie Faniel. Rashawn lived a large portion of his life in Linden, NJ and moved to Winfield, NJ where he lived until his death.
He was preceded in death by his father, Weston Davis and grandparents, Edison and Ann Faniel. Rashawn leaves to mourn his long-time girlfriend of 18 years, Chrissy Lacroix of Winfield, NJ; his beloved son, Rashawn Faniel, Jr. of Winfield, NJ; his loving mother, Ronnie Faniel of Roselle, NJ; his brothers, Christian Davis-Faniel of Carteret, NJ and Jordan Davis-Faniel of Edison, NJ; his aunts and uncles and a host of cousins and friends.
Rashawn was a graduate of Linden High School in Linden, NJ. He attended and graduated from Union County Vocational School of Culinary Arts. He worked at Homewood Suites, as a maintenance technician and as a longtime caregiver for Bob Lacroix of Winfield, NJ.
Rashawn was a family man, loving and kind. He made everyone around him smile and laugh and we cherish the time we had with him. Though we grieve Rashawn's loss, we take comfort in the memories we shared and the love he bestowed upon us. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
