RJ was born the eldest of four children to Raul S. Perez Sr. and Penny Hernandez Perez. RJ grew up in Arvin with his sisters Monica, Miranda, and Marlena. RJ worked several years on the same ranch with his father Raul and his sister Monica. RJ will forever be in our hearts.
RJ is survived by his son Oliver Perez and Oliver's mother Cassandra Rios; parents Raul Perez and Penny Perez; paternal grandparents Genovevo and Olivia Perez; maternal grandfather Edmundo Hernandez; three sisters Monica Perez, Miranda Perez, and Marlena Perez; Godparents and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers.
RJ was preceded in death by his grandmother Dolores Hernandez; uncle Jr. Hernandez and Rodrigo Flores.
The family has arranged visitation and rosary to be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 from 4:00-8:00p.m at Peter's Funeral Home, 201 S. Hill Street, Arvin, CA. 93203. Services for burial will immediately follow on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 12:00pm. at the Arvin Cemetery, 15543 S. Vineland Rd., Bakersfield, CA. 93307.
