It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Raven Marie Rempe, a bright and cherished young woman, who left this world far too soon on Thursday, May 8th, 2025 at the age of 15. Raven was born in Frederick, MD on January 19, 2010, and is survived by her parents, Matthew Rempe of Hagerstown, MD. and Morgen Machen of Urbana, MD. Raven brought love and laughter to everyone who knew her. Raven was a student at Urbana High School where she attended part of her Freshman year. She was on track to finish early, as she was enrolled in a self paced home school curriculum and was excited to return to UHS for her Sophomore year.

She has grown from a quiet and kind child to an incredible young lady whom others were easily drawn to. She had a unique ability to bring people together. She was the undeniable bond between us all. Raven had a gift for making people laugh, connecting easily with others and making them feel seen and heard. She brought music with her everywhere she went and to be with Raven meant there was a soundtrack and a joke for every moment. Raven was proud of her Japanese and German heritage and took the time to learn phrases in each language - even filling note pads with these tiny intricate characters. Raven loved to spend time with her sketch pad creating her own original art. As Raven's skills developed, she was commissioned to create, and felt pride in earning her own money. She was recently hired for her first summer job at an Urbana pool.

Raven was the big sister and built in best friend to her three siblings Evelyn "Evie" Dorothy Burdette of Urbana, Md. Silas Jamal Rempe of Hagerstown, MD. and Daniel David Alan Burdette of Urbana, MD. . They each cherished their time with Raven more than anything and she made everyone who loved her feel so special.

Along with her parents and siblings, Raven is survived by her adoring paternal grandparents: Barbara Rose of Hagerstown, MD. and Steven Rempe of Efland, NC. ; her maternal grandparents: David & Suzanne Machen of Urbana, MD. and Annapolis, MD. as well as bonus grandparents; Tim & Pam Duffy of Waynesboro, PA. and Brenda Machen of Urbana, MD.

Raven is also survived by an extensive family she adored, including Uncle Andrew Rose of Hagerstown, MD, Uncle lan McKenzie Machen and Aunt Amanda Harvey-Machen
Cousins: Miles Machen and Sage Harvey Machen, Aida and Tayla Jordan, their parents, Adine and Lenny Jordan and grandparents Mark and Leslie Vestrich, Molly Rempe, Michael Pettit, Makayla Pettit, Rebekah Calleja, Rachel Cook, Christiana Pettit, Leilena Venter, Vincent Calleja, Sareni Cook, Sage Cook, Shannon Pettit, Isabella Pettit, Evan Pettit, Parker Mose, Jevin Blair, Tyler Musser, Travis Pettit, MaKayla Pettit, Bailey Pettit, Trinity Pettit, Jeremy Castle, Lauren Castle and Connor Castle as well as beloved Aunts & Uncles: Wendy Ridenour, Pat Pettit, Mike & Lori Pettit, Butch Pettit, Greg & Marie Castle. The Entire Rempe family, which consists of over 100 relatives.

We love you all and wanted to include everyone we possibly could. Raven loved and adored everyone in her family.
